Birth Designer Program
Lakewood Ranch wants to make your pregnancy and birth experience the best it can be. That’s why we are the first in the community to offer a Birth Designer for each expecting mom at no cost. Our Birth Designer, Chrissy Coney, RN, BSN, CLC, will work with you to create a unique, personalized birthing experience designed just for you and your support person. Chrissy will help you navigate the birthing process in a personalized stress-free setting.

Melissa Tatara decided to deliver at Lakewood Ranch after attending several childbirth and parenting classes at the hospital. These classes gave her the opportunity to meet people at the hospital, tour the facilities and learn new skills to help her feel comfortable with the birth of her first child. When it came time to deliver, Melissa was impressed by the experience. “It was a really smooth process. The staff here is absolutely amazing,” Melissa said.
